Biopsy of Lymph Node
Preparation:
Dependent upon type of anaesthetic to be used
Procedure:
An incision over the lymph node followed by removal of the gland. A drain may be inserted if the node is large.
Anaesthetic:
Local anaesthetic for easily palpable superficial nodes, otherwise general anaesthesia
Post Op:
Usually Day Case
