Key benefits
Aberdeen Surgical offers an alternative means of providing private health care. As a chambers with 5 consultant surgeons we can offer rapid access to care and at the same time flexibility to ensure that the individual needs of patients are met.
Short waiting times
With 8 clinics a week, at times to accommodate patients we can offer same day appointments for most patients or alternatively arrange an appointment to fit in with your patient’s requirements. Similarly our team of 5 surgeons allows us to offer surgery within two weeks of referral.
Flexible Services
Clinics are available most evenings and during the day 3 times a week, in addition we are happy to arrange appointments out with these times if required. Our patients can therefore opt for an early appointment or may prefer to be seen at a day and time to suite them or to see a particular surgeon.

Our team of five surgeons, plus specialists and support staff, means we respond promptly to enquiries. This includes both:
- clinical issues - dealt with by our on-call consultant and
- administrative enquires dealt with by dedicated secretarial staff who are happy to arrange clinic, operating sessions or help with any aspect of the patient journey

This includes the most up-to-date minimally invasive techniques including single port cholecystectomies and natural orifice surgery. Specialist clinics ensure rapid diagnosis and appropriate treatment for all patients. All of our procedures and outcomes are carefully monitored and reviewed monthly to ensure the highest standards of care are adhered to, summary results are published.
Help with insurance
Our experienced management team will also liaise with patients’ insurance companies to minimise the wait for approval before surgery.

Our state of the art paperless note systems allow us to quickly report back on consultations and diagnosis.

We are aware that it is difficult to keep abreast of the all developments in all specialties particularly with such rapid changes occurring in many fields. Our information brochures are aimed at providing an up-to-date guide to the management of patients with many of the common surgical conditions.
